October Favourites

HOW IS IT NOVEMBER ALREADY?! This month has gone scarily quickly, I can't believe there are only 2 months left of 2015!! Although this does mean that it is getting very very close to festive season (am I allowed to say the C word yet?). This month I have found a few great products that I am really looking forward to sharing with you.

Charlotte Tilbury Glastonberry

I ordered this lipstick at the start of the month - being such and iconic autumnal colour I just had to give it a go. Although £23 is expensive for a lipstick, the quality of this product is absolutely worth it. The colour pay off is phenomenal, and it lasts a good 4-6 hours without topping up. It is such a lovely berry shade too, the perfect purple that isn't too dark and gothic but still gives a nice edge to your look. A classic cult product by the ever excellent Charlotte Tilbury.

The Girl on the Train

Since reading Gone Girl I have really struggled to find a book that can live up to my now heightened standards. I was actually recommended this in Waterstone's by the very lovely cashier, and I am so glad that she said something because I couldn't put it down! Without giving the plot away, it is similar to Gone Girl with the 'who did it' aspect and the twists throughout. If you need a new book to read through November I would definitely suggest giving this a read.

Jean Paul Gaultier Classique

I have to confess that I do own a rather large designer perfume collection. In my defence they all have really different scents and I wear them at different times of the year. At least that's what I tell myself! At the moment my floral scents are going back into my drawer and my winter perfumes are making their first appearance. Jean Paul Gaultier Classique has been a staple in my collection for a while now, and I always repurchase it as it is such a signature scent for me. The top notes of rose combined with a sandalwood base make it feminine but not too summery, which is exactly what i'm after this time of year.

Snowflake Cookie Candle

Mmmm-MM! I hope i'm not too early in using a festive candle, but this is just heavenly. I bought this about 2 weeks ago and oh my goodness I am in love. It smells like I've just been slaving away in the kitchen for 3 hours, but I just lit a match! Also I find that this time of year a candle really sets the mood for a cosy evening in, and since it's darker early it doesn't feel like a waste to light it. I treated myself to the largest size and it now has pride of place on my windowsill.

This Jumper

Last but not least is this AMAZING knit from New Look. It has the biggest of roll necks to keep you really cosy, and it's cut in a sort of square shape, meaning it's really big and float but sits nicely too. I find it difficult to find a really good jumper because I don't like the way that most sit on me. I also love that this has capped sleeves, making it great this month as it's just starting to get cold, and you can just later it with a long sleeve top later in the year. Win win! I will definitely be popping out to get this in another colour come pay day.

What have you guys been loving this month? Can you recommend me anything that I should try though November? Also have you starting listening to Christmas music yet (I listened to my first last night!)? Let me know in the comments!
