My Studying Tips

Hi guys! I'm so sorry I haven't blogged in so long, I've been super busy (and a bit ill too) and just not had the time to sit down and write. I also haven't done anything overly interesting recently to blog about, but one of my new years resolutions is to write a post every month so I thought I'd write about the only thing I've really spent any time doing - studying! Like every student, I hate the idea of sitting down and revising for a big test or end of year exams. But here are a couple of tips that I have for getting down and really learning something.

1. Break It Down

I'm a big procrastinator, and the bigger a task is the scarier it looks to tackle, so I end up just putting it off. I find it reeeally helpful to break my work down into bitesize chunks. If I have a certain amount of work that I am aiming to complete in a day, I feel like I can actually tick something off of my list, rather than just making a dent in a big job over time. Make a plan of what work you're going to do throught the week - and stick to it!

2. Make It Look Pretty

This sounds silly, I know. But pretty work makes me want to look at it, and you have to look at things to learn them, right? Grab that multipack of highlighters and add some colour to your notes! Not only will it make them nicer to look at, it'll also make it a lot easier to skim read.
